Temporary Plates

Temporary plates are usually issued by licensed dealers. We can only issue them for the following purposes:

• You bought a car in Florida and want to register it in your home state. Proof of residence and payment of sales tax required.

• We need to request your title from a  lienholder

• The car has to be inspected by DMV

• If you transfer the plate to a new car you can get a 30 days temporary plate to sell the old one

Valid insurance is always required.
